Graduate certificates provide new skills that professionals can use in their industries. Learn about Responsible AI, or software engineering. Certificate coursework may be applied towards a master's degree in many cases.

Software Engineering Graduate Certificate

Coursework toward this certificate can be used for credit towards the MS in the related program. Also, the certificate may be pursued concurrently with any graduate degree programs in the College of Engineering and Computing. 

 

Computing Foundations Graduate Certificate

This certificate provides a bridge to computing opportunities for students with undergraduate backgrounds in disciplines other than computer science-related areas of study. Graduates will learn how computers work and how software is designed, written, and deployed and will be able to analyze problems and design software to solve those problems.

 

Computer Science Undergraduate Certificate

This certificate targets students who are working on or possess an undergraduate degree in a technical (science or engineering) field but lack a formal credential in the computer science field. It also targets students who have shown an aptitude for graduate study but do not have the academic prerequisites required for admittance into a graduate MS computer science program.
